24 HOURS A DAY, 7 DAYS A WEEK (24x7)
Thanks to our automatic reporting push system, the person in charge of the water supply receives a LORNO report (Leak-alarms, water withdrawals, and/or inappropriate handling,on the hydrant, system alarms) automatically through E-mail or SMS .
No walk by or drive by data pick up onsite and no additional costs for concessions or fees for our radio network.
How does it work?
THE RADIO NETWORK A SELF-ORGANISING AND BI-DIRECTIONAL FREE-OF-CHARGE COMMUNICATIONNETWORK
Every LORNO unit (whether through the hydrant or LORNO T- directly installed on the pipe) is equipped with an antenna. This antenna enables the communication from/to the LORNO units of all measurements and alarm messages.
More antennas are attached to the candelabras street lights or other constructions to relay the data radio.
If there happen to be a disturbance in the communication network link , the system automatically chooses another link via another node to transmit the transcripts of all messages and measurements to the data transmitter (PCU).
Option SIM
If, due to technical reasons, a hydrant cannot be linked to the radio network or if a customer does not wish to build a radio network, there is a possibility to connect the measuring points through a mobile communication Data SIM card solution to the LCU. In this case, the communication is not free of charge.
Technical Features
- Concession - and fee-free radio network
- The electronic unit is protected by a stainless steel cylinder (safe from vandalism)
THE LANDLINE - THE INTERNET ACCESS
The data transmitter (PCU) works as an interface between the data radio network and the LCU server.
Inside the server (LCU), messages are registered and stored in a database and customers are able to access it through a web application.
Incoming alarms are automatically forwarded from the server via SMS to the registered user. The user is able to retrieve and manage further details from the web application (spectral-time view ,tickets, scheduling of pending work, etc…) and to manage his LORNO system.
Technical Features
- A single data transmitter (PCU) can connect up to 50 hydrants (Installation on a public building, connection 230V)
- Online management of all parameters
- Safe and password protected online access
- No required software installation (Web application)
